Brand Story

THE GUESTLIST invites proactive professionals, creative minds and change-makers to join our collective as designers. Here, they are provided with the tools and resources to create sustainable wardrobe-essentials. Motivated by our greater vision of an entirely circular economy, we have dedicated ourselves to creating the future of consciously-made, timeless, slow fashion products. We aim to path the way towards a more circular future, aided by our own Cashmere Spa service. As we are all guests to this earth, we understand that true sustainability is an ever-developing journey and can never be considered a final destination.

Brand Transparency

Who answered our brand transparency questions?

Anton Schuuman – CEO at NAS TEXTILE HUB GMBH.

Fair Trade

How do you ensure "Fair Trade" manufacturing? If your manufacturing or the manufacturing company you work with is certified, please list these certifications.

The GUESTLIST business model has created a transparent, sustainable, and fair supply chain for our customers worldwide. We produce under transparent and European law and industrial safety standards. The production of THE GUESTLIST products takes place exclusively at one location in Germany, which is checked and controlled by THE GUESTLIST. Our controlled supply chain enables us to guarantee fair wages for all employees and the sustainable and ecologically pure production of the fabrics and finished articles. Sustainability is not just a trend for us, but the demand for our business activities throughout the textile chain.

Social Justice

How do you ensure "Social Justice" with your internal and external corporate environment?

All employees shall be treated with respect and equality regardless of their age, religion, gender, marital status, disability, pregnancy, nationality, race, political views, ethnic origin or sexual orientation. THE GUESTLIST will not tolerate harassment, corporal punishment and physical, sexual, psychological or verbal abuse in its supply chain.

Organic Material

Which "Organic Material" do you work with? What makes this material sustainable? And what makes it better compared to conventional material?

At THE GUESTLIST we work with the natural fibers of Cashmere, Wool, Cotton and Silk. Nature has created the best fibers on the planet, and so we believe they are the best textiles for true quality fashion. Our herders are incentivized to keep herd numbers low, steadily improving their herd’s yield, and overall exerting less pressure on the land. We believe by investing in natural, quality fibers, you are investing in a wardrobe that will last - provided you care for it.

Local Production

Where and why are your products manufactured "locally"?

THE GUESTLIST products are designed, produced, and shipped from our manufactury in Mühlhausen. By keeping these process in house, we can ensure a transparent, short supply chain. This also ensures that our environmental impact is reduced because of the lack of unnecessary transportation of materials and products.

Zero Waste

Which processes in your supply chain are "Zero "Waste"?

We aim to path the way towards a more circular future; while understanding that true sustainability is an ever-developing journey and can never be considered a final destination. Surpassing sustainability, THE GUESTLIST created the Cashmere Spa, allowing circularity to be put into actionable practice. Offering the opportunity for garments to be revived and rejuvenated, therefore creating a circular fashion economy. Our made-to-order model of production ensures that we do not subscribe to the over-consumption and mass-production of today. THE GUESTLIST’s pieces do not subscribe to trends or seasons, but rather are designed as timeless wardrobe classics that will last lifetimes.
