Brand Story
Soulgani means abundance of soul, and our mission is: Do Good. Be Good. We approach every aspect of our business with that in mind. Soulgani was founded in 2017 when our founder saw a beautiful rock during a hike in Peru and she incorporated it into our first pair of leggings. Additionally, as we are inspired by global travel, we donate proceeds back to the town city or village which inspired us, as a way of giving thanks. We have donated 12,000+ meals through Feeding America, helped build a home in Peru and provide art therapy to children in hospitals.

Fair Trade
How do you ensure "Fair Trade" manufacturing? If your manufacturing or the manufacturing company you work with is certified, please list these certifications.
We partner with a factory that pays a living wage, and provides fair treatment of their workers in Detroit Michigan, USA. The workers are entitled to overtime, time off, and flexibility. Special note, every day the team does 15 minutes of yoga to promote health and wellness while doing repetitive tasks. Additionally, our factory has brought in workers from lower socioeconomic regions, former prisoners, and taught them the skill of sewing, and created a culture of advancing their skills and promoting from within.
Social Justice
How do you ensure "Social Justice" with your internal and external corporate environment?
We partner with a factory that has brought in workers from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and regions, as well as former prisoners, and taught them the skill of sewing, and created a culture of advancing their skills and promoting from within. Additionally, we donate a portion of each sale to charities.
Recycled Material
Which "Recycled Material" do you work with? What makes this material sustainable? And what makes it better compared to conventional material?
We have a Recycled Collection, which is made entirely of recycled fabrics. One leggings is made of 28 water bottles and one bra crop is made of 10 water bottles.
Eco/Tech Material
Which "Eco/Tech Material" do you work with? What makes this material sustainable? And what makes it better compared to conventional material?
Our materials are all eco-friendly and sustainable. We use eco-friendly bamboo viscose for our tops.
Zero Waste
Which processes in your supply chain are "Zero "Waste"?
Our entire process from start to finish is sustainable, from how we source our fabrics, to how we manufacture them. Our main sources are eco-friendly bamboo which regenerates 4ft in 24 hours and recycled fabrics, which helps reuse recycled water bottles. Additionally, we order our products as needed and have a zero waste pattern design. We reuse as much fabric as possible to avoid waste as well.
Give Back
What organization do you donate to? Why is it important for your brand to "Give Back"?
Soulgani designs are inspired by nature & we give back as a way to give thanks to the town, city or village of inspiration to give thanks. We give back to Feeding Tampa Bay, COVID-19 Relief Fund, Foodbank for NYC, Global Builders Peru and The Space for Art Foundation.
Cultural Support
How do you "culturally support" local traditions and communities, democratic politics and education, especially in the countries where your brand operates?
We provide art therapy to children in hospitals, through the Space for Art Foundation and we also support our fellow local businesses in the Tampa/St Petersburg area. Our factory also supports lower income women and equips them with the right skills and an above average wage.
