Based In The Heart Of Berlin

STAIY was co-founded by four Italian friends Adrian Leue, Alessandro Nora, Ludovico Durante and Chiara Latini in the heart of Berlin in November 2019 with the aim to guide ethical fashion brands on becoming a leader in environmental transparency and action towards their mission as well as to lead conscious shopping without compromising on trends and style.

STAIY recently partnered up with NEONYT – the global hub for ethical fashion, sustainability and innovation – to showcase their top items.

How does STAIY select their ethical brands?

STAIY only works with brands which are focused on ethical and eco-friendly standards. In order to check whether the brands meet STAIY´s requirements, each brand must fill out a questionnaire. This questionnaire consists of 62 quantitative and qualitative questions and each is based on two UN Sustainable Development Goals. The questionnaire is categorized into these 5 Sustainability Pillars: Water, Air, Materials, Work Conditions, and Commitment.

The questionnaire is evaluated using a point scheme and sustainability guidelines. The results are clearly marked with icons on each brands page as you can see below. Check all womens- and menswear, accessories and shoe brands here.

STAIY´s Incentive System For Customers

STAIY has created an incentive system linked to the purchasing process that widens its customers’ positive environmental footprint. Consumers receive donation points assigned to the particular brand they have purchased from, which can then be used to make a donation to STAIY ́s partner and non-profit organization, One Tree Planted. Their reforestation initiatives support broader purposes such as empowering women in Rwanda, restoring Amazon rainforest in Peru and providing a source for water in Kenya.
