Why we love this place
Founded by Julie Wainwright with the motto “the future of fashion is circular”, the RealReal is a luxury vintage fashion reseller platform with a website and several stores in the United States. The RealReal offers an excellent selection of authentic luxury designer clothes, accessories and jewelry. Our editor-in-chief Antonia visited the West Hollywood store and almost spend the whole day there. YSL boots or Chanel jackets are reminiscent of her grandma’s fashion boutique where she sold YSL. The nostalgic feeling inspires and takes you back to the time of Coco Chanel. You can drop off items in their stores and have them valuated. You can book a private viewing appointment for any item priced at $2,000+. We love The RealReal because they create a platform and in-person experience that values and honors high-quality, pre-owned designer items and prepares them for further use.
