It is definitely well-spent money to store health supportive foods in the kitchen pantry, because of it´s beneficial effects on our well-being. Goji berries are small red dried berries, mostly grown in China. These little power fruits are rich in Vitamin B, Vitamin E and they are loaded with 500 times the Vitamin C of an orange, 18 different amino acids, and 21 different minerals. 2. Raw Chocolate
Cacao! After we ate this mouth-watering energizer it benefits us with mood- and memory boosting effects. It also relaxes smooth muscle in our blood vessels. That´s why the fruit is super sensitive to external influences and not originally available in Europe. You can get them as a powder or syrup. Tip: Add them to your energy bite, yogurt or smoothie. People often eat them in the winter time to push the immune system.
5. Chia Seeds
Chia is the Mayan word for strength. Chia Seeds are tiny black protein seeds. They have 5 times more calcium than milk, 3 times more iron than spinach and 2 times more potassium than bananas. The perfect food for vegans. Tip: For overnight chia pudding, mix almond milk with chia seeds and store it in the fridge until next morning. Complete the pudding with some nuts and a sweetener like agave syrup.
