Why we love this place
Monkey Mind Yoga, founded by Jette Wegner and Sophia Lenz in a quiet courtyard near Hamburg’s vibrant Schanzenviertel, is a down-to-earth and welcoming studio dedicated to mindful movement and inner calm. Designed as an unpretentious space to quiet the restless “monkey mind” of modern life, the studio offers a warm, inclusive, and dogmas-free atmosphere where everyone is welcome just as they are. With a focus on dynamic Vinyasa flows, Ashtanga, and grounding Yin yoga, Monkey Mind Yoga provides a supportive environment to step off the hamster wheel of daily thoughts, release tension, and reconnect with your body. Whether you are building foundations in a slow flow or deepening your practice, the studio invites you to arrive, breathe, and feel completely at home.
We were kindly invited to explore the Monkey Mind Yoga studio as part of a press visit. As always, all impressions are entirely our own.
