Why we love this place
Our Editor-in-Chief was invited to enjoy tapas at Brindisa Battersea Power Station and was thoroughly impressed by both the flavors and the restaurant’s story. Founded by Monika Linton in the 1980s, Brindisa’s journey began in Catalonia as a mission to introduce the UK to authentic Spanish cuisine. And their dedication to sourcing high-quality ingredients from small family producers in Spain is at the heart of their menu. The restaurant serves traditional tapas like patatas bravas and jamón ibérico, as well as innovative, larger dishes, all made with fresh, seasonal produce. The experience was not only about the food but also about the atmosphere. The interior is warm and inviting, with natural materials and soft lighting that create a cozy dining environment. Brindisa’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in their careful sourcing of ingredients, including meat and fish from Borough Market and produce from local UK suppliers. It’s clear that every dish tells a story—one rooted in tradition, quality, and a love for authentic Spanish cuisine.
