Why we love this place
MONOCLE is a media brand headquartered in London and is known for its Travel Guides, film, web, and 24-hour radio service. Launched in 2007 in London as a print magazine and digital venture, Monocle offers insights into global affairs, business, culture, design, and more. Today, Monocle operates headquarters, bureaux, shops, and radio studios in London, Zürich, Merano, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, including their iconic café on vibrant Chiltern Street. At the café you’ll find delicious baked treats, tasty lunches such as seasonal soup, and great coffee, all served in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The café features the iconic black-and-white striped awning at the entrance and stocks the latest issues of Monocle and Konfekt, along with a curated selection of items from The Monocle Shop, making it a perfect spot to unwind and explore the brand’s offerings. The café is located opposite the Chiltern Firehouse, next to Kimaï and close to LA FROMAGERIE.
