Upcycling, which is the process of creatively transforming old and unused materials or products into new and innovative items, has become the latest buzzword in the world of sustainability. This practice encourages individuals and businesses to reduce waste and conserve resources by repurposing or refurbishing existing materials instead of disposing of them in landfills. It has gained popularity in recent years as people have become more aware of the damaging effects of consumerism and the importance of preserving the environment for future generations. So, if you’re looking to make a positive impact on the planet, shop at these sustainable brands with upcycled collections we love.

That’s where upcycling comes in, and it’s where my passion lies” says Jeanette. She creates unique designs using sustainable and certified fabrics, such as organic cotton, hemp, linen, silk, wool, and recycled materials. Operating in a Berlin-Neukölln-based home studio, she uses a made-to-order system to produce sustainable fashion that combines loud elements and extreme contrasts in perfect harmony, while preserving our planet.
